Carolina Laursen

Carolina Laursen, born in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1980, is now a dedicated model, actress and a well-known anchorwoman of the Argentinian show business and in Miami.
Her talent has made an echo in theaters as a script writer and also as a producer for the projects launched by hes company “Chocarro Artistic Corp”, in Argentina, Madrid and Miami.
Carolina is currently a co-host for America Teve’s show “Agárrese Quien Pueda” (AQP) in Miami
For their contribution to the community of Miami, AQP and its members is rewarded with a mention from the Mayor of the City of Hialeah Carlos Fernandez.
In 2012, Carolina receives the award for Best Original Screenplay at the Second Miami Theatre Festival for his drama “El Tango de la Injusticia”, where she also interpreted as an actress with her husband actor David Chocarro.
In 2013, as a member of Adriana Black Box’s theatrical cast, is part of a lively staging of dance and performance with more than 15 actors/dancers providing the audience with plays filled with energy, passion and youth. In early 2014, she starred alongside a cast of Argentinian actors, the second season of a classic Argentinian comedy”
Esperando la Carroza”, written in 1962, and successfully directed by Jacobo Langsner in Miami by the entertainment company Cirko Theatre.
She was honored, along with the cast, with an award for his contribution to the culture of Miami by the mayor of the city of Miami, Tomas Regalado. As a script writer she also received such mention for its innumerable dramas presented in the context of the Spanish Cultural Center Microtheatre .
In 2014, under her own production company Chocarro Artistic Corp., Carolina participated in the XIII Monologue Festival Havanafama as playwriter and director of 2 monologues. As director of “Después de Picasso, Dios”, written by July Grandy and interpreted by Johana Bonanno, this all women cast will be present in the next Monologue Festival in New York City. In Miami, Carolina is about to launch her first short film called “Life Suckers” as a script writer and co-director of a psychological drama between a mother and daughter inspired on the self-help books written by Mabel Iam, who will play one of the characters to the launch of her new book “LifeSuckers”. This multimedia short will be presented at the Indie Film Club Festival in Miami, NOLA.
